Why Choose Disc Replication?

Many of us are not really familiar with disc replication process. Unlike duplicating CDs or DVDs – which any of us can do using a standard burner, a blank disc, and the content for the copies – replication is a more delicate process. Raw materials – usually polycarbonate plastic – is processed and formed into discs before contents are added. There are several reasons why disc replication is the better option, and we are going to discuss them in this article.

Disc replication is always the better way to go if you are producing more than 1,000 discs. Whether you are replicating CDs, DVDs, or even Blu-Ray discs, the overall cost of the project (and of course the cost per disc) will be substantially lower compared to disc duplication.

The results of a disc replication process are also more precise. The master disc is transferred on to a very smooth glass; this will then be the master for all replicated discs. As long as the original master is of high quality, all the discs produced will be superb.

You will also be surprised to know that disc replication allows the production of thousands of discs in shorter amount of time. When you need to produce 1,000 discs or more, there is no doubt that replication is the best option to use.
