Who makes the best laptops?

With so many laptop computers on the market these days, this year especially, we have to ask ourselves, who really makes the best laptops out there? I guess the simple answer is, it depends what you want to use your laptop for. Although, with that said, many of the laptop manufacturers use the same components (processors, drives, memory etc) so regardless of what brand you buy, you’ll see similar performance.

The best looking laptops are most definitely made by Apple. The Apple Macbook and Macbook Pro are some of the best looking laptops out there by a country mile. They also have speed and processing power on their side but really come with a heavy price tag. Their 17″ Macbook Pro is one of the best laptop computers ever made, although we realise a 17 laptop isn’t always practical.

If you’re doing a lot of traveling and need a fairly durable notebook then the only option is either an IBM or HP. Both of these manufacturers make extremely good quality machines that are capable of serving a lot of travel.

If you don’t want to switch to Mac OS but want a nice looking system shell, you should most definitely consider the Sony Vaio line up. There are always around 10 systems on offer boasting a wide range of specs and stylish case designs for the fashion conscious user.
